Covetousness and the Rich Men of Luke (231125 SCSF) What does covetousness mean to you? We are told in the 10 commandments that “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s. (Ex20:17)” I think in general we know from this, and our understanding of the word, that we should not desire our neighbor’s goods. But is there more to it?

Yeshua at Ḥanukkah (John 10:22-42) By Michael Ladda There is a place in scripture where Ḥanukkah is mentioned, it is in (John 10:22). Interestingly, since the original Hebrew version of 1 Maccabees is not preserved and we only have Greek translations, this is the oldest known reference to Ḥanukkah in literature. 22At that time the Ḥanukkah came to be in Yerushalayim, and it was winter. 23And Yeshua was walking in the Set-apart Place, in the porch of Shelomoh.
